Question

does lovesick mean you are sick with love or without it?

1 comment:

  1. lovesick doesn't have to mean either. Love should never be an infection or a "saving grace". The term, in my opinion, connotes the notion that something that takes hold of you. Simultaneously, this "infection" is not necessary for survival, nor is it hurtful. What is hurtful about love leads us to another discussion entirely(i.e. unrequited love, betrayal of love, etc...)The fundamental meaning is:

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
    Love never fails!

So its almost an oxymoron to have love and sick as one word.

Love your music Miss Paige, you have the makings of a profound artist with staying power. Can't wait to hear new things. :-D
